PARK HOME SITES CHANGE HANDS

NEW OWNERS FOR PARK HOME SITES IN SCOTLAND

Two Scottish parks have recently changed hands.

Straiton Park in Midothian was acquired by the Hendry family in June 2021.  The family are owners of the well known Red Deer Village park near Glasgow.  The previous ownes at Straiton were the sublect of enforcement orders from Midlothian Council for improvements to the park ,and SCOPHRA understands this influenced the sale.  Residents report that upgrading of the park has already begun.

Riverview Residents Association at Forres reports:

Riverview Country Park, Forres has been taken over by CAMELO and work has begun to improve the site. The old derelict buildings are now demolished, and that area will be rebuilt in a courtyard style consisting of clubhouse, coffee shop, gymnasium, solar panels. The park is currently being increased with new plots and homes in place for sale. The Owners are working well with the Residents Association and have just agreed to our request for an area where we can create a Residents Community Garden
